State Attorney General Kamala Harris is asking private law firms to provide free legal help to the wave of Central American children pouring into the state.
Harris has called for a sit-down Wednesday in her San Francisco office with attorneys from a dozen firms, as well as with representatives of nonprofits, legal-aid groups and charities.
The attorney general's office itself is legally barred from representing the youngsters, so Harris is using her "convening power" to pull together private help.
The exact number of unaccompanied children showing up at the California border is hard to come by, but we're told that the federal immigration courts in San Francisco are handling 80 cases a day involving youngsters.

First, let’s get this right: THEY ARE NOT IMMIGRANTS! They are criminals!
Second, the word “free” means that hard-working, tax-paying citizens have their rewards of pay ripped out of their hands by wealthy politicians to “give” to the bums and criminals in order to ensure their long-lived political lives.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREE because FREE means something was stolen from an honest citizen to bribe the worthless scum to follow the political party that fills the trough with more free stuff.
Or as they call it LOOTING the legal way.

It is not only lawyers but other people and organizations also. A few days ago I was in the optical department of a major health provider here in central California and was leaving with my new eye glasses. As my wife and I were exiting a group of young Latin looking females apparently under the control of burly looking Mexican guy were blocking the way out. The dispensary clerk ‘rushed’ out and directed the young persons to the other side of the entrance. As we went through the door I glanced a look at the young females, five or so, who were passing us like zombies and their ‘leader’ who gave me a look that said ‘so what business is this of yours’. On thinking about the incident I really believe these young females were a group of people that were undocumented and being given free/welfare medical aid.
Kamala Harris has been mentioned as a potential future Democrat nominee for the US Supreme Court. She’s part black and part Asian.
But 100% Marxist.
If Ginsberg were to retire, her replacement would obviously be female, but even if a male justice stepped down, I think Obama would select another woman--after all, the male justices are still in the majority.
