Following the publication of my column on Sunday, two more leaks have come out which further undercut the media meme on the shooting in Ferguson, Mo.
The police department indicates it has 12 eyewitnesses to the shooting who confirm officer Wilson's account, and Wilson has an eye orbital fracture which is also consistent with his claim that Brown reached into the police car and attacked him. We also have been informed from the Brown family's pathologist that marijuana was found in Brown's body. There may be more drugs, as the toxicology report is not due in for weeks.(Apparently the drug of choice there is swisher cigarillos (which we see Brown stealing) hollowed out, filled with marijuana and dipped in PCP before smoking. We do not know if Brown did have PCP in his body, but if he did the 300 pounder would have been likely very dangerous.
We are seeing two sides to this story, not because of any great work by the media, which once again shamefully played into the "It's Always Selma" fairytale of the race hustlers. No- -- it is the honest , gutsy work of the Ferguson chief of police and officers that it letting the truth of the matter come to light.
Thomas Lipscomb sees it as I do and has said this (which he has given me permission to quote in full).
I am in full agreement with his observations following Legal Insurrection's warning on the unreliability of eyewitness testimony:
First of all the key problem here is strictly limited to the very few witnesses who will speak out and this is a VERY small list precisely because of the nonjudicial sentence carried out as scribbled by locals on the wall of the burnt out convenience store “snitches get stitches.”

Somebody breaking into my business or my home? I don’t know if they’re there “only” to steal and destroy property or if they are there to assault me and my family. Given recent events I should reasonably be in fear for my life and my families lives. Therefore I *will* remove the threat. Removing the threat means firing until the intruder is down on the ground an no-longer advancing or making any menacing motion that might be bringing a weapon to bear. In other words fire and keep firing until the perp is on the ground un-moving. This is why we need standard capacity magazines. Remove the threat.
What fries my ice is that the FED Govt. Dept. of "JUST-US " surpressed information at the onset of the media circus.
They didn't want to besmurch the reputation of the 'perp' by releasing the security film of the store robbery.
The movie clearly showed the theft , departure out of the store, the 'perp's' return to reinforce threat of assault before finally leaving.
This same pattern of behavior lead up to the perp's fatal flaw of assault , departure , and then return to reinforce the threat of assault,
which lead up to his death.
The FEDS controlled the media circus, surpressed information, and are accountable for helping to create the crowds that later rioted for several nights.

After the JOHNSTOWN FLOOD, looters were shot on sight.
After the SAN FRANCISCO EARTHQUAKE, looters were shot on sight (To be fair, people trapped on top of burning buildings with no escape were also shot to keep them from burning to death).
OK, here is a list of the crimes of Michael “Big Thug” Brown and his accomplice, Mr. Johnson, on the day in question;
1) Theft ($40 box swisher sweets)
2) Assault and battery on the store employee or customer
3) Use and possession of a controlled substance. (Still illegal in Missouri)
(They meet Officer Wilson in the street.)
4) Jaywalking—a minor crime, but a crime nonetheless.
5) Assault and battery of a police officer as evidenced by officer Wilson’s injury to his orbital socket.
(Up to this point there is undisputed evidence of all these criminal acts.)
6)Allegation of attempted theft of the officer’s gun. If the story is correct there should be evidence of a gun discharge in the patrol car.
7 Failure to obey a lawful order of a police officer. (I do not know if this is a crime; any lawyers?)
The entire chain of causation of all this starts with Mike “Big Thug” and his friend’s theft. His accomplice, Mr. Johnson deliberately lied about Mike “Big Thug,” being shot in the back to save his own skin and this lie precipitated all the riots. He needs to go to jail after they plea down to get a full and true account of everything that happened that day.
No one should feel sorry for his mother any longer. The appropriate response would be for his mother to publicly pay the store owner for the stolen Swisher Sweets, to apologize that her son’s actions resulted in his and other stores being looted and peoples lives being destroyed. This will not happen because She and Attorney Crump are selfish people who would rather perpetuate a lie and engage in “character assassination” of the officer that her son assaulted to get a big liability lawsuit/payout. She should be shamed for what she is doing.
This will not happen of course. Adults are responsible; the people at the center of this will deny the connection between personal actions and consequences and are devoid of honor and dignity.
This has already degenerated into a political slugfest. On the Left it is spearheaded by the Democrat US President, the Democrat US Attorney General, the Democrat State Governer and Democrat Mr. Sharpton, and on the Right there are the . . Um . . RACIST CRICKETS.

Early on, one of the mainstream media channels had an interview with a black woman named Tiffany who claimed to have witnessed most of what happened from nearby. She largely agreed with the pro-Michael Brown version of his last moments. It may be that she had heard that version from others before she was interviewed.
The merchants in Ferguson need to go all “Korean shopkeeper” on their asses.
Losers: Jay Nixon, Captain Johnson, Eric Holder, Barack Obama, the Mayor of Ferguson, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the citizens of Ferguson, the business owners who had their stuff stolen and broken and the biggest loser of all, the MSM who provoked riots and looting with their unethical reporting and race baiting.
This post pretty much sums up this disgusting situation.
I still think a lil “cruel and unusual punishment” is in order.
