Imagine a scenario in which some conservative was accused of a crime, and libs pulled up evidence that he’d written songs with crude and/or violent lyrics. Would the MSM say that was off-base? No way. On the contrary, it would tell us about his pathological mindset, and how evil he was, and how he was undeserving of sympathy.
But the liberals will say that this is character assassination to bring up how much he was into rap, and by extension, the gang/ghetto culture.
