Mitt Romney: Obama worse than even I expected
The Washington Times ^ | 08/19/14 | S.A. Miller

Mitt Romney said Tuesday that the problems inflicted by President Obama’s policies are even worse than he predicted during the 2012 presidential campaign.

“It’s been a good deal worse than even I expected,” Mr. Romney told reporters after headlining a rally here for Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.

“I was not a big fan of the president’s policies, as you know, either domestically or internationally,” he said. “But the results of his mistakes and errors, in my opinion, have been more severe than even I would have predicted.”

I knew he was going to be this bad. Why didn’t you, Mittens?

RE Romney's bold statement about Obama:

Nicely said. A gentlemanly poke, understated and yet excruciating. Many people on the fence agree with Mitt, but might not if he expressed his viewpoint more forcefully. One pebble at a time, the scales are balancing toward ejecting DEMS from the White Hut and congress.

You're kidding, right?

Romney is diet decaf Coke. Obama is Pepsi.

YOU decide.

Nobody takes the birth certificate nonsense seriously at all.

You might be surprised.

Actually, he has been a good President… for: Illustrating the depth and breadth of corruption endemic to the federal government irrespective of political affiliation.

Very excellently said.

Eating "their own"? Wrong. Things like Romney/Obama Care and forced acceptance of homosexual "marriage" on all levels, are in no way "mine."

They belong to the Democrats. They're not "my own."

Is Romney still sticking to the line that Obama is still a decent guy and a good father to his daughters, but just bad as President?

Obama is worse thatn anyone could have imagined. The muppets in the media keep defending him but the LONG list of failures is astounding - it will take a decade to repair this mess.
Let’s start with the economy - 6 nears of near depression, no jobs, energy price skyrockets, food prices at all time highs, wars breaking out, borders like sieves, corporate tax rates and mandates preventing hiring, medical care amuck, race rights are encouraged, ......

It’s terrible, too many Americans made one real bad choice.

No, I won’t be surprised, especially when there exists a reality to me beyond my household interior, or what gets posted on the internet. The birthers are a tiny bunch of sore losers that jerks like Donald Trump loved conning. With the COLB presented, the Birth Announcement published in the newspaper dated and aged to 1963. Obama was born in the United States. One could argue that because Obama Sr. wasn’t American, that makes Obama not pure American, but plenty of people waste their sweet time saying that no, he wasn’t born in the United States, anything that doesn’t agree with me isn’t real. Because the Birth Certificate doesn’t agree with me, it must be a fraud. The birthers are just like Ron Paul supporters, they rant and make themselves to appear like they are the vast majority of the United States population, yet when the tangible, physical, votes from the primaries come in, Ron Paul doesn’t even measure up to winning anywhere, including his home state of Texas. I hate to break it to you, but I know enough about the internet to know how much B.S. and attempts and illusion casting people try to pull. However, at the end of the day, reality doesn’t come close to what people try to project into internet forums.

I assume you meant riots instead of rights. Because politicians scam artificial “rights” to people. The idea of marriage being a “right” is like someone selling bottles of air to you, you have the air all around you, why should you have to actually buy it? Whether you want to make your marriage “real” or “meaningful” is completely up to those in the relationship, no one else’s recognition can ever compensate for that, yet some people feel so bad that perhaps some person out there, in their little head, might just think differently than what you want them to think.

The no jobs thing is even worse when you consider the fact that plenty of college grads are working minimum wage jobs right now. Factor in the fact that some people actually try to support more than themselves, and you have a deficit economy where the government has to pretty much generate money it doesn’t have to support an ever increasingly large segment of society to see that they make it along.

One thing I would argue for though is the fact that trade jobs are in high demand, and heavily undervalued, and underrated by a great many people.

But Caffeine Free Diet Coke, or at least Diet Coke is a healthier, lower calorie option than normal Pepsi. But I can kind of see where some people are coming from though. I don’t think one has to blindly agree with the film “The Obama Deception” to not see Obama as a decent guy.

The big thing I would say about Mittens is that he would have a lot of people really grinding an axe with him that would be adoring and tingling like they needed to be potty trained again (yes, I am talking about Chris Matthews). That’s what we really need right now, a leader whom much of the media will be critical of and despise, not adore.

...especially when there exists a reality to me beyond my household interior ...

So, I take it then when you go to gatherings, parties, barbecues, social activities, the beach, whatever, and I casual conversation somebody jokes about Obama's birth certificate, the folks around you make "birther nut" jokes?

'Cause I can tell you that's not the kind of reaction I've seen "beyond my household exterior or what gets posted on the internet." Out there, I see the total opposite. Young people, old people, liberals, conservatives -- an awful lot of 'em joke not about birthers, but about Obama's dubious background. And yes, it surprised me.

And I'm in California. What's your excuse?

Dear, they're both unhealthy crap.

If I am in a restaurant and those are my two choices, I will decline both because they are both garbage that harms the body the same ways leftism harms America. I will drink water, but prefer something with a little caffeine kick in it. Unsweetened tea is perfect. It's healthy and it's right.

More to the point, it is an actual option as opposed to the charade of one.

I don’t need to have an excuse. Zero action has ever been taken. The birthers aren’t taken seriously by anyone in authority. I have people walking around NYC saying that 911 was done by the government and Osama bin Laden never existed. Pretty entertaining if you ask me. There’s nothing mysterious about Obama’s background. He was a spoiled brat raised by his wealthy grandmother, and had his silver spoon handled for him, and pretty much bailed out of any trouble if he ever was at risk for it. That explains just about all of the character of Obama that you see: He is a spoiled brat who sees no reason to respect the rules.

People rant on as if being American born makes you the good guy. It doesn’t Timothy McVeigh, despite being a full natural born citizen was a bomber who was only exceeded by 9/11. A number of serial killers are exactly the same. The overwhelming evidence is that Obama was born in the U.S., doesn’t mean he still isn’t an awful POTUS. Doesn’t mean that he isn’t darling everywhere from Hollywood to CNN. Doesn’t mean it would be great if he could get the calling out on his awful policies that anyone other than a Democrat would get.
