The Gateway Pundit can now confirm from two local St. Louis sources that police Officer Darren Wilson suffered facial fractures during his confrontation with deceased 18 year-old Michael Brown. Officer Wilson clearly feared for his life during the incident that led to the shooting death of Brown. This was after Michael Brown and his accomplice Dorian Johnson robbed a local Ferguson convenience store.
Local St. Louis sources said Wilson suffered an “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket.” This comes from a source within the District Attorney’s office and confirmed by the St. Louis County Police.

Here on FR, we were aware of reports on the first day that the officer had suffered injuries to his face, and was treated at the hospital. We just didn't know the extent of those injuries.

All ya have to do is look at the crime scene images.
Look at the the evidence markers, which appear to be red traffic cones in this case.
It appears at least 3 of the cones are within feet, maybe 5'-8' from the Mr. Brown's body...
In fact one of the cones, appears to be within about 4' of Browns body...
The cones if anyone is wondering, are very likely evidence markers for bullet casings ejected from the officers weapon.
The cones can be clearly seen in images posted days ago of the shooting scene.

HIPAA would keep the medical/admittance records from being disclosed. I don’t know if the officer could authorize disclosure. He’s in a delicate situation, as is the PD.

Too much like the Trayvon incident where, in initial reports, George Zimmerman was a, “Huge white man, around six four and weighing possibly 250 pounds” and Trayvon was a small black child, I am not exaggerating, that is approximately the version that was being reported. I am a Nordic type white man, six four, muscular, not fat and 250 pounds and I expected Zimmerman to be a much younger version of myself, I was astounded to find that he was in fact a short, rather pudgy looking man of mixed race, with some “African American” heritage. I was even more astounded to learn that the small black boy was in fact nearly as tall as I am, weighed about what I weighed when I was 18 and played football and liked boxing and martial arts. I am convinced that the only reason Zimmerman survived is that he shot Martin in self defense, otherwise he would have been beaten to death.
It is quite possible, even likely, that the facts in the case of “Big Mike” Brown are just as distorted by anti-white racism as the Trayvon Martin case. I am as concerned as anyone about police officers going nuts and shooting innocent people but why does this case warrant such over the top response when the case of two policeman shooting in the head a one armed, one legged man in a wheelchair in a group home for the mentally ill barely made a ripple.
Click on the following link and scroll down slightly and there is a picture of Brian Claunch, a man who had no left arm and no left leg but allegedly hemmed a policeman into a corner WITH HIS WHEELCHAIR FOR PETE’S SAKE and the officer could not escape, Claunch allegedly refused to SHOW HIS HANDS, of course he only had one hand and it contained a ball point pen with which he was said to have cornered a police officer and threatened him so that his partner who WAS NOT CORNERED feared for the safety of the other officer so he shot Claunch dead with one shot, apparently a head shot. Looking at the picture of Claunch I believe I have spotted the reason why his murder did not warrant one one hundredth of the coverage afforded Trayvon Martin or Big Mike Brown and certainly did not result in rioting and looting. Look carefully at the picture and see if you can spot the significant detail which explains why everyone knows the name Trayvon Martin but no one knows the name Brian Claunch.

Then there is the question of why everyone heard all about the death of Matthew Shepard but almost no one has heard about the death of Jesse Dirkhising. I will offer a clue as to why, Shepard was a GAY MAN, Dirkhising was a thirteen year old boy, killed in a most hideous manner BY TWO GAY MEN. News coverage in this nation is so warped that it makes “Baghdad Bob” look like the soul of journalistic integrity.

If he had a blow-out fracture there has to be X-rays. There must be an Ophthalmological medical record. If there was impingement of the nerve there would have had to be a surgical elevation of the fracture fragments to relieve the pressure on the nerve. Bring forth the medical records.

Still haven’t heard any confirmation of the orbital blowout fracture to Officer Wilson. I wonder if this will turn out to be one of those rumors that seem to always swirl around big stories that never pans out. If it turns out to be true, it will be interesting to hear the MM explain why they sat on it for so long.
That would likely render him at least temporarily blind in that eye, or at least unable to move the eye normally, so in addition to pain which would be considerable, his eyesight would also be compromised.
