Footage is from the 1968 Chicago Democratic convention. Leftists and anarchists showed up and caused chaos. The political outcome was Nixon was elected in a landslide.
Leftists were using the current Ferguson, MO events to create outrage to motivate a demoralized political base. High unemployment, Hispanics displacing blacks economically and politically. This seemed like time to send in the Zimmerman DOJ 'community consultants' and get things ready for November.
However, the violence, riots, and lynch mob against Officer Wilson are backfiring. I think the left has made a political miscalculation here with the worst ahead for them. Once the state grand jury fails to indict (stoned Brown punching then bumrushing Officer Wilson) these riots will be mild by comparison and they likely will spread nationwide.

OWS was used (coordinated) to elect Obama for a 2nd term. Not much is new.
It doesn’t help that Americans are sick to death of hearing how mistreated minorities are when they’re doing better than many of us without even working for it.
