NELIGH, Neb. — Willie Nelson and Neil Young will headline a concert next month in a Nebraska cornfield organized by opponents of a proposed pipeline that would carry oil from Canada south to the Gulf Coast.

Bold Nebraska said Monday the concert will be held Sept. 27 on a farm near Neligh in northeast Nebraska. Tickets go on sale Wednesday.

That’s an old photo.
Petro truck stop bought out the place and made a huge FOR PROFIT truck stop out of it.
The bio willie diesel equipment is in the back gathering dust. I want to buy it and convert it into a huge distillery for making adult beverages!

Maybe not, but if Willie gets lost it won’t be hard to find him.

Gee, I didn’t know you two were oil men.

You can always tell when someone’s once great career is failing. They get into things they know nothing about.

Willie will just get into his huge shiny bus and go to sleep, his driver will get him there.

I went to a Willie Nelson concert 2 years ago and as of that time Willie still had it. His singing and guitar picking were exceptional!

His politics are sh*t!

These 2 have been driving and flying around the country since the 1950’s and 60’s. There are already thousands of miles of pipelines crisscrossing the midwest.

The ONLY reason there are protests (paid for) is to hide the fact that Warren Buffett (owns) and Bill Gates (invests) in a railroad that hauls oil.

I read it would cost $10 per barrel to transport via pipeline and $30 by rail. Pipeline would be safer than rail. Guess who will make the most money by shipping by rail.

He did better than a concert here a few years ago when he couldn’t remember the words to his own songs.

Now, now. Maybe these two have sung songs about oil wells, or rigs, motor oil or even gas station pumps. They now qualify as “experts”, you know. They could testify on Capital Hill, if necessary.

Both these guys are on my playlists.

Shame on them, but I’m not compromising my music enjoyment.

They have no idea what they are doing. They have to protest.

Perhaps it takes that mindset to enhance creativity? Whatever. I’ll be listening to “Down by the River” etc. again soon.

Yeah, Warren Buffett’s railroad tank cars are sooooo... much safer than a buried pipeline. And so much more efficient LOL. They are efficient in lining Buffett’s pockets with subsidy track lease and tank car rentals and shipping expense. It is a bonanza.

So, willie and neal think THIS is supportive of FARM AID? In what palpable way is that possible. The GD railroads are no friends to the farmers and never have been.

Everybody’s hated the “robber baron capitalist” railroad at some time or other. Anyhow BNSF and Union Pacific are both big deals in Omaha. And Union Pacific is even bigger than BNSF.

The pipe might make more sense from a security standpoint, but again it’s probably easier to guard a train than an entire pipe. No dog in this fight.
