An Albany area farm which rebuffed efforts by a same-sex couple to hold their wedding at the site has been fined $10,000 and ordered to pay the women $1,500 each for their mental anguish.

In New York State Division of Human Rights v. Liberty Ridge Farm, 10157952/ 10157963, Administrative Law Judge Migdalia Pares of the Bronx rejected the owners' argument that the farm, which is their home, is not a place of public accommodation and is therefore not subject to the anti-discrimination provisions of the Human Rights Law.

the Giffords are considering their next step, including a possible appeal based on the Hobby Lobby ruling.

It’s liberal New York. Most everywhere would accommodate them yet they pick out a place that won’t, sue and get money. Typical New York.

Make sure the wedding is in the Barn with the other cows.

Not another farm in all the county that the fags could use. In New York? Yeah, right. No agenda here.

When the government is telling you who you can and cannot do business with, therein lies tyranny.

It's government-enforced slavery.

Refuse. Don't comply. With the fine, with the demand, with the judgment. None of it. Force the Gestapo to prosecute the claim through the system. And somebody pay these hags a visit. With a gunny sack and a Louisville Slugger.

Thank you for not backing down one iota. THIS is what it's going to ultimately take to beat the idea of freedom into these Fascists.

That resistance is only half of the equation. One lone resister will get steamrolled by Big Brother. So the other half has to be a sizable group of determined resisters who can deploy at a moment’s notice and who are willing to stand united on the victim’s behalf.

Just like at the Bundy Ranch standoff. And like what the Texas militias are doing at the border.

Since the government won’t enforce the law, and the laws they DO choose to enforce are unconstitutional and tyrannical, we are forced to become our own legal arm.

It sure is, and it goes against everything I believe in.

The only way things will get better though is if the country turns back to God, everything else would follow suit after that.

What’s the difference? Do you allow some people in your house and not others? Re-education camps or Freedom of Religion. Make your choice.

And Goldwater was right.

I wonder what the older "More Enlightened" Goldwater would have thought about it?

Whatever his liberal wife told him to think

You know how the activists would respond or that: bring in a ringer straight couple to see if the farm was really booked.
