(CNSNews.com) – Amel Shimoun Nona, the Chaldean Catholic archbishop of Mosul, Iraq, who is now living in exile, warned that his diocese is now run by radical Muslims and that “liberal and democratic principles are worth nothing here,” adding that “Islam does not say that all men are equal,” and if Westerners “do not understand this soon enough, you will become the victims of the enemy you have welcomed into your home.”
The Chaldean Catholic Church is an Eastern Rite church, under the authority of Pope Francis. In an interview with Corriere della Sera, Archbishop Amel Nona, now living in exile in Erbil, in Kurdistan Iraq, commented on his diocese in Mosul being overrun by radical Islamists.

OK, so Islam doesn’t state all men are equal. Where do the Christian scriptures say all men are equal? The only verse I can think of is: “All have sinned.”
Why is the Archbishop trying to cloud things with the truth?

That’s the truth. A violent, world-domination movement is destroying Christianity all throughout the world.
Admittedly, that concept doesn't pack much of a punch in political this-world terms, but the concept is that God doesn't care," with the strong though not specifically spoken implication that neither should we. Galatians is also, admittedly, speaking about Christians, not unbelievers.
The Brotherhood of Man is also implicit in the concept of the Fatherhood of God. If we are all equally children of God, whence cometh the notion that some of us are superior to others?
It should be noted that this concept is also implicit in Islam, which, however, limits it to Muslims. As, unfortunately, do some Jewish groups now and in the past limit it to the Chosen People, at least in practice. Some Christians have also limited it to Christians or even just members of their Church.
