People in Ferguson are apparently complaining (rightly so) because they are afraid to leave their homes; some are low on food and scared to go out; some are not going to work.

Another key factor with that area, is they’ve been canceling school for a week now (including tomorrow).

Parents expect their kids to go to school, so they can work, and the school district loses thousands of dollars for every day the school is closed during regular scheduled classes. I’m not sure if teachers are still being paid, but if they are, it’s another hit on the already-poor area of Ferguson. If teachers aren’t being paid, then you know they’ve got to be complaining as well.
