Federal Autopsy of Michael Brown Ordered As Unrest in Ferguson Rises

Citing “extraordinary circumstances” in the Aug. 9 police shooting death of unarmed teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., U.S. Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder Jr. has instructed Department of Justice officials to have an additional autopsy performed by a federal medical examiner after unrest in the St. Louis suburb escalated again overnight.
Meanwhile, law enforcement officials said the protester shot overnight, who is in critical condition, was shot by another protester, not by police.
Holder's decision, announced Sunday, is the latest development showing that federal investigators are conducting a far different probe than that underway by local officials into the shooting. Brown, a black 18-year-old, was shot and killed by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson, and his death has touched off a week-long series of protests in the St. Louis suburb.

There’s been no autopsy?
They bring in a guy from a different police force to bray on national news that now the right racial makeup of cop is in charge, and three days later he’s out of answers, and looks completely beaten, with hecklers.
And they haven’t got a toxicity screen screaming through the fastest lab in the country to find out what the heck this guy was on.
Yhey can order all they want, “Ducky and Abby don’t work anywhere but on TV.”
Will be another justifiable reason to riot when the results come back either the same or different. If it’s a DOJ ME then Holder will let the doc know to show something different.
Lots of parallels between this case and the Trayvon Martin shooting. It will be interesting to see what Michael Brown’s cell phone has on it.
First of all, what authority does Holder have to do this?
Secondly, I wouldn’t let the feds do this without witnesses and a recording of the autopsy!

Under what law may a federal autopsy occur? The Civil Rights Act? King holder says so it happens. This is pure grandstanding.
In St. Louis (at Washington Univ.) is one of the premier forensic medicine labs. Let them do it, if they haven’t already.

If the first pathologist has any sense he'll have a full-body NMR performed on the corpse before he hands it over to the evidence-manufacturing division of the DOJ.
Holder has to poke a few more holes in the corpse to fill in the holes of their narrative
