Balogna! He was a punk, feelin’ his oats after strong-arming a shop owner. He was a belligerently striding down the middle of the street, proudly affirming his masculinity and blackness. I figure when he saw the cop, he thought he was gonna be busted for his strong-arm robbery, and he went haywire! Too bad toxicology takes so long! I’ll bet he was as high as a kite!—

It seems to me in the Trayvon Martin case they were able to keep his toxicology results out of the trial — is that your memory — or did they use them in trial.

I would think that a report of the robbery had gone out to all officers though.
