Police in Ferguson released a video tape allegedly showing slain teen Michael Brown robbing a store even though the Justice Department warned that doing so could inflame racial tensions, CNN is reporting.
Ferguson cops had wanted to release the video on Thursday but held off when federal officials asked them not to release the tape, an unnamed law enforcement official told CNN. That tape allegedly showed Brown stealing cigars from a convenience store before a police officer shot the unarmed 18-year-old in the street last weekend.
Despite holding off Thursday, Ferguson police still decided to release the tape Friday over the Justice Department's objections, according to CNN.

Does not surprise me at all.
Anyone with half a brain understood that the riots were wrong,. and the Dems needed to make this a race issue to get their base out to vote for the election as they have nothing else to run on.
What surprised me was how a few who are supposedly on our side , not the word supposedly actually fell for the left wing crap.
The DOJ, in cahoots with the Sharpton gang, wanted to make sure that the “innocent black child shot by racist white cop” narrative was thoroughly entrenched in the public’s mind so any other version (such as the truth) would either fall on deaf ears or be met with derision. And that is exactly what happened.
The minute the video came out, the family and their lawyers said it was nothing but character assassination of “Mike Mike.”
I thought this from the beginning and I suspect we’ll find this whole mess is almost entirely a federal creation.
The feds were on the scene within hours and if they were there, they were seizing control.

I do give them credit for predicting the response to evidence that their preferred scenario of events was completely wrong. The victim class at DOJ understands the thought processes of the victim class better than I ever will. I'd consider this kind of thinking a mental disorder, though.
Well being that it was the feds that demanded local authorities withold the release of footage of Saint Swisher robbing the conenience store... and now it is out there... what sort of control does Holder have?
I really dig the fact the tape was released in the face of federal "authority"... it seems like a real FUDOJ.
This new information has not seemed to put a damper on pro Brown rallies in the mid Atlantic area.
The cops were smart to release it before Holder could fabricate a martyrdom and hang an innocent cop while smearing the rest of the department (and fill it with AA tokens in leadership positions).
Police may have made the situation even worse when they revealed later Friday that the officer who killed Brown did not even know he was a robbery suspect — a detail that suggests the convenience-store tape isn't relevant to the shooting.
No, Erin, you brainless bimbo! Common sense affirms that the suspects knew they had robbed the store. Common sense suggests such guilty knowledge would affect their behavior towards the officer!
And, BTW, the officer knew it, too, real soon. After ordering the two off the street, he pulled forward and continued to watch them in his rear view mirror as he heard the BOLO come over the radio. That's when he backed up, got out, and confronted them, causing the gentile giant to shove him back into his SUV and attempt to grab his gun.
The Conservative Tree House has posted a video of Brown's corpse in the street. The interesting part is voices in the background describing the confrontation. They support the officer's account and refute that of Brown's robbery accomplice Dorian Johson.
The truth must always be hidden and obfuscated with leftists. That’s why there’s hardly any real “journalism” these days. Just a pile of lying leftist garbage.
The Justice Department asked Ferguson police not to release the video, believing that if the truth came out that Michael Brown committed a strong-armed robbery minutes before he confronted and attacked police, then Holder and the rest of the DemoFascist race-baiters would be unable to continue to perpetuate their “gentle giant” lie.
What is wrong with truth no matter which side it falls on? Perhaps there were plans in the works to make someone out a martyr and as a springboard for more programs of entitlement? Showing pictures of a strong armed robbery {felony} would make that far more difficult.
It's past time to deal with what this is which is Looting, Arson, and Felony Vandalism of others {innocents} private property. The citizens of the town themselves need to purge the scum looters, vandals, fire bugs etc, from amongst them. IOW run them out of town. Clean your house. They can try to excuse this as a race issue but the fact remains it is what it is. It is an end result of failed community standards of conduct.

You keep posting this...but where is the proof the Feds didn’t want it released? If you cannot produce that, then you are just hoping it is true...we’ve had enough of the “Hope” stuff for a lifetime!
