That's funny.

If was Walker (R) 47%, Burke (D) 48%, the MSM would be screaming that Burke was running away with it, that the TEA Party was dead, that Obama was surging once again, etc., etc.

I had expected Walker to lead by more than this, given his comeback in the recall election. Perhaps that year he benefitted from people who opposed his policies but felt that the recall process was being abused. I hope that he wins big in any event.

…do you really think that Americans have the mental capacity to know anything about the “recall process”?! Or care?!

Why is it this close given the economic success of WI under Walker?

Walker reduced taxes, balanced budget, no teacher layoffs— oh sure he ruffled the Unions feathers so now they cant extort union dues by decree. If the people there elect Burke they need a lobotomy.

Walker by only 1 percent? Are the people of Wisconsin totally brain dead?

The public employees unions of Madistan and the Academia of the University of Wisconsin system, is your answer.

I would really like to see the internals of this poll.

The last two Marquette Law School polls oversampled democrats and had similar results.

If they are using 2012 turnout models, this isn’t even close to reality. IMHO, the Sheriff Clarke victory showed that the GOP is more motivated in Wisconsin.

The democrats also do not have the OFA machine this year. They had a huge, computerized operation to drag every potential dem voter to the polls in 2012. In 2012, the local operation was large and very well funded. This year, they have a storefront and have had trouble getting candidates.

I don't under-estimate how organized they are...

Go here: http://neworganizing.com/

We don't have an "Org" like this and it doesn't look like any deep pocket people on our side of the isle are gonna get one up and running...

Beck warned us the organized were getting organized, and we are left with our fingers in our ears...

Governor Walker needs to insist upon a debate. She’ll fold like a cheap tent. She wouldn’t even debate that loony tune Brett Hulsey, LOL!

I’m not worried. I just voted for him - FOR THE THIRD TIME, and I’ll vote for him a 4th come November. I know I am not alone.

He’ll be out soon enough with TV and radio ads. He’s sitting on loads of cash - can raise many more millions in a few days if need be. Burke won’t part with much more of her own cash. She’s not a great speaker by any means and her fundraising isn’t going all that well. She’s STILL out ‘introducing herself’ to people in the state.

2% of the Dem votes are in someone’s car trunk waiting to be counted should Walker be leading.

That’s quite an art, making the poll match the aftermath of massive Democrat voter fraud in Wisconsin.
