Robbery Tape Humiliates Media's 'Gentle Giant' Narrative (Michael Brown/Ferguson, Missouri)

With the release of tape today by the Ferguson Police Department of a man who appears to be Michael Brown allegedly physically assaulting a much smaller clerk while stealing Swisher Sweet cigars, the media’s narrative has collapsed. The media – and top-level politicians across the political spectrum – portrayed Michael Brown in saintlike fashion. That narrative no longer holds.

The report from the police department states:

Brown grabbed a box of Swisher Sweet cigars and handed them to Johnson. [REDACTED] witnessed [REDACTED] tell Brown that he had to pay for those cigars first. That is when Brown reached across the counter and grabbed numerous packs of Swisher Sweets and turned to leave the store.

Brown then reportedly “grabbed [an intervening bystander] by the shirt and forcefully pushed him back into a display rack.”

We still don’t know the details of what happened between Officer Darren Wilson and Brown that led to Brown’s shooting death. Perhaps Wilson is a racist; we have no evidence of that as of yet. Perhaps Wilson used excessive force; we have no evidence of that as of yet, since we don’t have full evidence of the situation leading to the shooting. If Officer Wilson killed Brown without justification, he should obviously be punished to the full extent of the law....

That may be true on the national level but not on the local level.

Missouri is solidly Republican but a lot of people there are raising questions about this shooting.

There may be BGI and Black Panthers there but most of the Blacks don’t want them there.

Jesse Jackson came into town but they booed him off the stage.

Sadly the people Black and White are asking the police for answers and they get the big blue wall and it’s under investigation with a selective drip drip of info.

And the looters and rioters are the same small minority every night who the people have photographed and identified as coming in from the outside.

The police have been given this information and told to arrest them and the rioting is over but they get nothing but (((CRICKETS))))

At about the 4:30 — 5:30 mark he states matter of factly that the dead guy had his hands up and was shot while he was on the ground.

Then at the 8:00 mark some guy in the background says that he shot 8 times — 4 shots and then 4 shots more.

And this is mere minutes after the shooting — but where is his SUV Cruiser — it’s a crime scene — had they moved it already or is that it way up there on the right???

You really need to take a brake from your defense of the thugs. You have know idea if anything you just posted is true or not.

If Missouri is so solidly Republican then why is the governor a Rat. Most of the elected officials I have seen from Missouri have all been Rats.
