Was it a simple mistake, or more deeply revealing of how Luke Russert regards events in Ferguson, MO? With Chuck Todd on his way to Meet The Press, Russert hosted MSNBC's Daily Rundown today.
Speaking with NBC reporter Ron Allen, on the scene in Ferguson, Russert said: "the big news this morning is we expect to hear for the first time the name of the officer who was involved in the murder of Michael Brown -- or the killing of Michael Brown." H/t reader Charles B.

I heard that today too, but from somebody ELSE on MSNBC. Fox seems to be taking the whimpy “he’s guilty” route too, though I haven’t seen the totality of their coverage.

Clearly Russert misspoke. He meant to comment on the murder of UNARMED Mike Brown.

This government is attempting to put whites in untenable position in so many ways. Attempting to disarm us or intimidate us into not using our arms while at the same time giving blacks increasing latitude to get away with committing crimes upon whites (the knockout “game” cover-up, the pile-up on whites who use force to defend themselves, etc), and by also making us pay for it all through redistribution, AA, etc. They have to keep the propaganda going to maintain the white guilt, and they’re getting down to absurdities because all the real problems were addressed long ago. They know that if whites ever get just a second to put their heads above water and take a breath, they’ll explode.
I would say they’ve sent out the memo, but they don’t even have to bother anymore. The groupthink amongst this bunch is already a given.

Luke was way off message...he even forgot to call Brown the “gentle giant.”

everyone should read this post and get it through their skulls. A message has been sent - first with the Zimmerman lynching and now this. Protect yourself from thug blacks and there is a great chance you are going to jail.
And scared/complicit law enforcement will comply.
If only they had a tape to edit to make Wilson sound like a racist cop.
