In my dream scenario, the Republicans would take back the Senate, but McConnell and Cochran would lose.
I really cannot stand Mitch. It’s just that I dislike her even more.
I pray to God McConnell is dethroned.
I frankly do not care if Grimes wins.
Better the enemy we know and see than the traitor who comes in behind us to slit our throats in our sleep.
Any Conservative who votes for the guy who declared war on you and vowed to ‘crush you’ is no Conservative. You would just be a GOP party hack, and that makes you no different than the MarxoFascist Democrats.
Maybe I can support a group that runs ads telling voters about how extremely racist Mitch is and that they should vote against him.
You have a massive fund-raiser for them first.
Then you pretend you had nothing to do with it.

Cornyn is marginally worse on immigration than Mitch. He thinks with his hat he is some sort of border tough guy. At least Mitch just hides in the corner when Schumer or Jeff Sessions is talking.
It is funny Rand supported Cochran. The establishment could have ran ads on his civil rights comments.
McConnell is a lot more like Obama than one would assume.
He makes grandiose claims and yet has nothing to back up the claim except a speech or a sound bite.
Claims that he single-handedly stopped Obama’s war on coal - and yet - you cannot find a SINGLE effort, piece of legislation or act from McConnell to restrain Obama’s EPA. Not one.
Not a single meeting with Conservatives in the House to encourage them to defund the EPA or ObamaCare. None.
Yet he claims he supported gutting ObamaCare “root and branch”.
Like Obama, he makes all these claims of his accomplishments that fly in the face of facts.
Because like Obama, he says one thing, and behind the scenes, does another. Lots of things behind the scenes, behind closed doors.
He works to ensure a vote to enable Obama’s agenda passes - and then when it is clear it will pass, he votes NO.
McConnell is one vicious bastard when it comes to trashing Conservatives - but nary a terse word for Obama and his agenda outside of rhetoric to the base to get re-elected.
4% lead isn’t a lot. If 4% gop vote for dem just to get rid of him, mcconnel could lose
So, if the GOP wins a majority in the Senate in the upcoming election, is there any chance of electing a leader other than McConnell? Or is he grandfathered in?
Mitch is a nightmare, but Grimes is much younger. We have seen how difficult it is to dislodge ANY senator. It is better for Mitch to be reelected as he is 72 and may not last through the next election. Grimes is less than half that age (35) and could be the next Robert Byrd. She could spend the next fifty years doing untold damage to the Republic.
Grimes’ ads are childish and she is in the ads herself attacking McConnell - those ads are about as good as McConnell running ads for himself, especially given the media firestorm her Medicare ad generated in how false it was. Her own negatives have spiked in the polling. This is the second poll in recent days showing McConnell pulling into the lead.
The vitriol and derangement the Democrats have in this Commonwealth over McConnell is even more over the top than it has been in the past. While I can’t say watching McConnell win would leave me jumping for joy, watching them lose yet again would be most enjoyable.
Which would you rather have giving Advice and Consent on SC nominees, Grimes or McConnell?
