Exactly. These posts are making me ill. Thinking that it is open season on cop’s relatives and neighbors because a cop does something wrong, is so immoral. I am not a JBT supporter at all. But, I cannot condone the harm to their families, friends and neighbors.
I say this every so often. Time to take a break from FR. When reading a thread makes me sick and it is not the “bad guys”, I know it is time.

Yup. Better to befriend a cop and be an example of civil behavior rather than leave him feeling alone among enemies.

A few weeks back my town's former single cop was at my dad's birthday party. We had a good chuckle about my misspent youth and his dealings with it. He caught me underage drinking and driving once a took me about two hours walk from my car and dropped me off. After the long walk down the railroad bed I was ready for bed.
