My take is that most talking heads are incredibly uninformed about military aspects of what they are trying to report.
For example, anything that blows up is the results of an airstrike.
For another, any destroyed building is the result of Israeli action even though the building shows clear signs if an internal explosion.
A final example is the disporportionate number of 20 something males being described as civilian deaths.

My take is that most talking heads are incredibly uninformed about military aspects of what they are trying to report. Hanlon's Razor: "Don't assume malice when stupidity is an adequate explanation. At least, not the first time." People forget the corollary, a.k.a. Grey's Law: "Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice."
