This image is quintessentially symbolic for the reasons not to have messed with Saddam. Despite the glaring irony, he was, in his own twisted way remarkable in keeping the peace.

I must say, despite having considered Bush the greatest President ever at the time, his, the Neocons' decision to invade Iraq has to rank as one of history's greatest miscalculations, blunders, a geopolitical loss for the West as devastating, destructive as the fall of the Shah.

The mistake wasn't attacking Iraq and killing Saddam, the mistake was not turning a few Iraq cities into glass parking lots to show the muzzies we meant business.

In particular Falauja when we had all the terrorist there surrounded after they hung our solders burned bodies from the bridge.
