The Ninth International Conference on Climate Change (ICCC9) was held on July 7th to July 9th, 2014, at the Mandalay Bay hotel and conference center in Las Vegas. Of the nine conferences, I’ve been to eight, in various locations, missing only the one held in London. I live in Las Vegas so I didn’t have to go far this time.
The International Climate Conferences are sponsored by the Heartland Institute, a libertarian-leaning think tank headquartered in Chicago. The conferences are a place for global warming skeptics to gather and exchange ideas.

And, for 17 years + 10 months now, there has been NO increase in the global average measured temperatures .....
We are as cold now as we were back in the mid-1990’s. But we are colder than we were back in 1935-1945.
But we’ve been gradually heating up since the Little Ice Age of 1600- 1750.
But we are now colder than we were back in Medieval Warming Period of 1000 - 1250.
but we are now warmer now than we were back in the Dark Ages of 400 AD - 800 AD.
But we are now colder than we were back in the Roman Warming Period of 200 BC - 100 AD.
Anybody see a pattern here? 8<)

Yes. There is a future in selling combined heating and air conditioning systems, aka heat pumps. We have one.
By keeping things suitably vague, these warmist slyentists manage to smear people, but whatever they are doing can’t fairly be called science.
Just read multiple reports that soybean, corn and wheat prices are tumbling due to crops that will be near or above record levels due to cooler than normal summer temperatures and moderate rainfall in most of the big growing states.
Many of the reports state or infer that growing conditions this year have been near perfect.
Stupid nature. And yet, when there are big floods along the Mississippi delta, folks are surprised the flood plains flooded. DOH!
Because of the extra CO2 in the air that man has injected the past 50 years to fuel economies, feed the people, and promote the world public’s health and well-being .. ALL plants worldwide are growing 12% to 27% faster, taller, greener, healthier, more drought-resistant, and with more leaves and more fruit.
More food, more fodder, more feed, more fuel, more farms, more fish, more life!

The Global Climate Changists are trying to depopulate the world and here we are doing things to grow more food to feed even more people.
What can the poor Fear Mongers do in the face of such intransigence?
That seems to be the way Burt Rutan sees it. While he admits he
is not a climate scientist he clearly understands the scientific
method and he knows their research does not past the smell test.
