I'm guessing the insurance companies pulled the plug.
A story with extended comments from Mustaine form the 2nd.
Heavy metal band Megadeth is dead set on performing in Israel
I dont believe whats on the news. I know Israel is an amazing country and the people there are beautiful.
He vacationed with his wife in Israel a few months back as well.

So CeeLo Green wrote to Israel, “Oh I really hate yo’ ass now!”

It would be highly irresponsible at this time to gather a large group of people together with the possibility of a warhead landing amongst them. These cancellations are not a political statement but ones of prudence and safety. To say otherwise is to flee from common sense.

Actually, Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine is very conservative and the bassist, David Ellefson runs a christian outreach group.

Mustaine’s mother was a German born Jew who came to America in the early 30s with her family.

Don't let ignorance stop you and others from negatively commenting.
I've been a Megadeth fan most of my adult life and I'm now 51. You won't find a more conservative metal band (i.e. "United Abominations", their 14th release) I recently saw them in Raleigh. Mr Dave briefly interrupted the concert for a minute to say his peace about the current situation, and then respectfully continued the show.
I may not care for someone else's preferred music, but can't see any reason or gain in posting negative comments about the music or musicians. FReegards. d:^)

Mustaine has stirred things up a few times for expressing conservative ideals. He had a big fight with Rob Halford of Judas Priest for saying that gay marriage is wrong. Bands have been kicked off tours with Megadeth for being openly anti Christian.
Liberals are still whining about him looking for a home outside California and its taxation. Looked like he was heading for Texas but I see he’s been talking Tennessee a lot lately.
