The people of Gaza voted for Hamas, there were no Jews occupying or oppressing Gaza when this took place.
Americans share a deep kinship with Palestinians... they voted in Hamas, and we voted in Øbama. Perhaps the ONLY difference between us is that we voted in Øbama a second time; given that chance, Palies would go Fatah now.
