2. Solemnly promise that that their brandy spanking new laws will have a miraculous effect on the problem AND that their ultimate goal IS NOT gun Confiscation.
Then as soon as the ink is dry on whatever new laws are passed, immediately start harping that the new law is just a ‘A first step’ or a ‘baby step’.
And as soon as the next serious crisis take place that gun grabbers can exploit, head right back to step 1 and start the whole process all over again.
