NY Gov. Cuomo’s criminal defense (lawyering up w/ campaign funds)

Gov Cuomo hired a high-priced criminal lawyer to represent his entire office WRT possible witness tampering--paid out of his $35 million campaign fund, because “the governor doesn’t want to have taxpayers pay for this." Cuomo's accused of shutting-down the Moreland Commission because corruption investigations were getting too close to him and his friends.....

Over the years, New York pols paid out more than $7 million in campaign funds to stay out of the pokey.....Cuomo puts himself in the company of such convicts as former Sens. Carl Kruger and Pedro Espada, sleazy former Assemblyman Vito Lopez and Sen. Malcolm Smith, whose trial is pending.

Four years ago, then-candidate Cuomo pointed to criminal pols in his pledge to clean up Albany. Today, he’s using the very same tactics to defend himself. So good to know it’s all for the taxpayer!

The hot NY political buzz is prez wannabe Gov Andy Cuomo is considering Massachsetts Gov Deval Patrick as
his running mate. Gov Deval is trying to up his name recognition, hoping to score brownie points with Cuomo.

Although I am confident that Cuomo is slime, the only reason this “scandal” has received as much attention as it has is because either Hillary or DiBlasio (Obama) don’t want to have deal with Cuomo in 2016.

Boy, she sure does look like the “wise Latina.” If I were a white guy in Massachusetts, I sure as heck wouldn’t want a job in any of their police departments anymore. They have become a PC joke.

Fred Dicker is on Capital District’s Channel 6 tv, 4 days a week, usually around 5:35 p.m., or so, and talks about the Cuomo scandal quite a bit.

Fred Dicker also writes about it in his NYPost columns, as well as talk about it on his radio show at 10 - 11 a.m. on Talk 1300. He has Astorino guest on his show quite a bit.

I was also happy to hear Hannity talk about Chris Christie not supporting Astorino.

Wish more would talk/write about it, but we all can help by calling a local, or national talk show, or writing a letter to the editor.
