World Bank pledges $200 million to fight Ebola
Medical Press ^ | 8/4/2014

Posted on 08/04/2014 4:05:28 PM PDT by EBH

The World Bank said Monday that it would provide up to $200 million to Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone to help the West African nations contain a deadly Ebola outbreak.

World Bank president Jim Yong Kim, himself an expert on infectious diseases, said he has been monitoring the spread of the virus and was "deeply saddened" at how it was contributing to the breakdown of "already weak health systems in the three countries."

"I am very worried that many more lives are at risk unless we can stop this Ebola epidemic in its tracks," Kim said.

The funding will help provide medical supplies, pay medical staff and take care of other priorities to contain the epidemic and try to prevent future outbreaks, the World Bank said.

The death toll from the Ebola outbreak on Monday reached 887 after 61 more fatalities were recorded, according to the World Health Organization.

The World Bank made the announcement as African leaders including 35 presidents are visiting Washington for a US-Africa summit.

An initial estimate by the World Bank and IMF found that Guinea would lose one percentage point in Gross Domestic Product growth, dropping from 4.5 percent to 3.5 percent expansion in the year, due to the epidemic.

Throwing more money at a problem. Why didn’t somebody think of that before?

I’m sure that nearly all of that money will be spent wisely and well.

Lift the cushions on your couch. Obama is hoping to get your change.

If I might make a prediction here:

The US is on the verge of declaring war on a virus that it brought to these shores.

The CDC will swell its budget claiming that it needs twice the staff and billions of dollars more to fight to keep this virus contained and keep it from spreading.

It will become another blackmail scheme to shake down the American taxpayer.

And Obama pledges $3.7 billion to make sure they sneak over the border and are transported all over the USA.

So the people running the IMF and the World Bank are the same folks who run the U.S. government and the governments of its closest allies. Since the institutions were founded at the end of World War II, the president of the World Bank has always been a U.S. citizen, and the head of the IMF has always been a European. These are all men, generally coming from the top of the financial industry.

While the IMF and the Bank operate as extensions of the U.S. government’s foreign policy, they are well insulated from democratic accountability. Congress, to say nothing of the populace in general, has no role overseeing their operations, and they operate largely outside the public eye (though Congressional ire sometimes appears in response to a request for more funds).

The homos intentionally spread HIV to force the world to
come up with a cure. I guess Obama and the rest of the fascists
want to do the same thing with Ebola.

Two hundred million dollars?

That’s barely enough for one medium size Michelle Obama vacation.

I'm trying to think... Just who do you bribe to do what to contain Ebola?

Don't get lost in the weeds. The details are not important. Taxpayer money is like water, it follows the path of least resistance.

Resistance being defined in this case as anywhere it would actually do some good.

ha ha. The money won’t go to those people making 370 a year.

It goes to large international firms with products to sell.

Much of it goes to NGOs (non-governmental organizations) for their “services”.

NGO services are things like

* “improving civil society” (setting up activist movements in the country)

* “women’s rights” (distributing condoms/bc/eroding the family, in the name of “helping families”),

* Western-medicine vaccination programs

* “good governance” (setting up the same style of corruption we have here), training up a set of local people to be stooges for America, including sending them to a NWO university if they’re young enough. Years from now that’s the pool of candidates for the country’s “prime minister”, etc.

* infrastructure / government borrowing (get gov’ts addicted to debt, ring up sales for large contractor companies)

....

there’s a whole bunch of rackets.

It’s all a racket. But if you’re an elite with a lot of money, you want to use the sheeple’s money as much as possible, not your own money. The sheeple don’t need money ! They’ll stop working if they get too much money. That’s why it’s taxed away from them.

It’s all about taking us tax dollars from the sheeple and circulating them around to new world order’s companies and NGOs.

“”Where does this alleged world money come from?””

That question AND this one: “Where does this alleged world money go?”

Any country outside of the continent of African perhaps would put it to work - on the continent - not a chance!
