MK Feiglin: Take Gaza, Pay People to Leave
Arutz Sheva ^ | 31/7/14 | Gil Ronen

Posted on 07/31/2014 2:33:38 PM PDT by Eleutheria5

Feiglin does not believe in going after rocket launchers or tunnels. Gaza should be retaken in whole, he said, by directly attacking the Hamas leadership and striving for victory, and doing so according to Jewish law, without sacrificing soldiers in order to save members of the local population, which voted Hamas into power.

Once this is accomplished, the terrorists who fight Israel must be destroyed, he said, and the remaining population should be encouraged to leave through monetary compensation. Surveys show that 80% of Gazans would like to leave the Mediterranean coastal strip and move elsewhere in the world. The minority that decides to stay will be allowed to stay and gradually receive a status similar to the Arabs of eastern Jerusalem.

The Jews should do to the Muslims what the Muslims are doing to the Christians.

I have been stating pretty much the same thing and what I stated at the end as a conclusion will have to take place sooner or later anyway.

There never has been or ever will be any peace by some form of a negotiated settlement, even so some politicians put on a good show for the news media and public consumption. Whoever the leaders of either Hamas or Hezbollah may be at the time their livelihood and job depends on constantly stirring the pot and keeping the public ignorant and dumb, not to mention that the religion of peace better known as (i) slam share a good portion of the blame for keeping the public in a constant state of upheaval.

It is not a whole lot different from this country where politicians on the left depend on political ignorance and keeping a good portion of the public destitute, always wishing and hoping that the politician they vote for will give them what they have been wishing for.

The only way it will get quiet for a while in that region will be if one side loses and the other side wins.

One problem with that plan. No one wants to take them . They are considered scum by other Arab countries.

I have advocated a conclusion like this as well. Perhaps it just goes to show that great minds think alike. But then again, I would not be surprised if a lot of conservative Israelis read FR.

UNHRC a year or two relocated some Pali refugees to Chile, and they were overjoyed to be there and gainfully employed. Who would want to leave Ghaza just to go to another Arab country? Expand UNHRC’s relocation program. Kick UNRWA out of Israel on their collective ass.

You nailed it right there. No one wants them - not Egypt, not the Saudis, etc. etc. Jordan kicked them out back in the early 70’s.

Who is going to spend $100 billion to bribe Gazans to leave?

Who would take them in? (long a problem with Palestinians)

Will the Qataris try to outbid, or counter the flow with new immigrants?

Despite my questions, I could see such assistance programs as a useful tool in the overall approach. Perhaps it could be offered to those who lost homes, or meet some other criteria.

A version of this is what I’ve had in mind for years to deal with the illegals in the US. Gian individual $25K and a new car when they show up at a detention center. A family gets $75K and a new SUV. Far cheaper than all of the taxpayer benefits they get and a boost for the auto industry.

Of course for this to work the borders would have to be sealed.

What was I thinking?

There should be quite a few empty villages in Central America by now.

Some country(s) would have to pay UNHCR or UNRWA. They don’t have mountains of discretionary funds.

In the past, The UN has been used to keep Palestinians from emigrating, so they remained as a weapon against Israel. If things have changed enough for this to work, it would be huge. There would still need to be a mountain of money from somewhere to buy out a million people (or two).

Dispersing them would likely be a key - nations that took in large Palestinian refugee populations before - Lebanon, Syria, Jordan - had painful experiences.

Obama would be happy to take these “refugees”, no paperwork required. There are even empty homes in Detroit he could put them in. I’d say Detroit and the Palestinians deserve each other (if we could trust these psychopathic murderers to stay there).

I actually like southern Illinois. How about Detroit? Just buy it up (Rush was thinking about buying it) and move them in.
