is being condemned to die

Well, if he has incurable cancer, it's the cancer that is bringing on his fate.

Palliative chemotherapy is in great demand, and is very popular, but in a fixed-resource setting like NHS it's unlikely to be a high priority.

If boob jobs are instead of curative chemo (ALL, Hodgkin's, some testicular), that's indisputably bad.

As far as a boob job vs. two years of throwing up and hair loss, well, that's something to discuss.

The recipients of breast implants will continue to vote Labour indefinitely. The young man with cancer is going to die in a couple of years, no matter what.

In the U.S., he would continue to vote Democrat indefinitely, of course, perhaps in more than one state ...

The thing is, when a patient has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, the goal is to extend his or her life as long as possible. There’s always a chance that, if you live long enough, a new drug on the market can extend your life even longer. There are cases of people living with “terminal” cancer for many years.

But, when the gov’t controls healthcare... well, this story is what happens.
