The best bet would be a tax on undocumented residents.

Naa, cut the small stuff.
Just lease the entire city to the cartels if morality no longer matters and you want the big bucks.

There are nine states in the union where the government maintains a direct monopoly on the sale of hard liquor. Marijuana is just the next logical step for a Government addicted to money.

I knew a lot of guys in college who supplemented their income with marijuana sales. They were subject to arrest and incarceration.
But I guess it’s okay if the vending party is the State.

Prostitution is legal in Nevada. California should do a study and find out how it's impacting the state of Nevada.

Why not declare the city an “Indian Reservation,” and open a casino?

Anyone on FR in favor of this proposal needs to search the FR archives to learn how San Bernardino CA got into this bankruptcy mess in the first place.
San Bernardino is basically a crime family that wants to sell drugs.

So. Are they going to have “City” ‘doctors’ write the dispensations, er...uhhhh...’prescriptions?’

Several state and local governments have gotten into the drug trade so far. It’s one of the preludes to slavery under fascism.

‘Course they’ll never look on the other side of the ledger, which is the spending side. Once they legalize this or that, the time will soon come for more self-defeating legislation in the name of revenue.
Then the cycle continues until it all collapses.
