Jeff Sessions is the safest bet this year in the U.S. congressional midterm elections.
The incumbent U.S. senator from Mobile was unopposed in the Republican primary on June 3. And on Nov. 4, he will be unopposed in the general election.
That's a historic first, according to Richard Winger of Ballot Access News, a publication Winger has edited since 1985.
A Republican has always been opposed by a Democrat for a U.S. Senate seat in Alabama since selection of U.S. senators was given to the voters in 1914, said Winger, 70, of San Francisco.

Sessions mocked Adelson and former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates in a recent floor speech, posted below. He noted Microsoft will cut 18,000 jobs in 2015. Sessions has often been saying undocumented workers have been crowding out documented U.S. workers in the labor market.
"I feel a deep duty ... to ask what is in (Alabamians') interest," said Sessions.

... and the management of the Alabama Media Group = Al.com, and the 3 local newspapers in BHM, Huntsville, and Mobile, absolutely hate him. Go Sen. Sessions!
Love your screen name. BHO hates AL coal, too.
Sessions is one of the few Senators left who has been consistently on the right side of the issue and willing to fight and speak up for it.
The other two I can think of are (were) Ted Cruz and Jim DeMint.
Amazing that the Democrats can’t find a candidate to run against him!
But this can’t be. I thought if Republicans “reached across the aisle,” they’d win landslides!
“I thought if Republicans reached across the aisle,....
Demo-commies love to run to the left of “moderate”
Republicans.
Come to think of it, it does make them more “authentic.”
This Alabamian supports Senator Sessions 100%. I would vote him for president if I could.
Me too! I think he would have a good chance to win. He’s not considered a threat to the RINOs, yet he is conservative enough to appeal to TeaPartiers like myself.
Jeff Sessions For President.
Rush talked about Sessions’ speech in the senate.

This Texan appreciates and thanks him.
A national treasure!
"SESSIONS: The president is preparing to assume for himself the absolute power to set immigration law in America. "Well, I'll just enforce what I wish to enforce." The absolute power to determine who may enter and who may work, no matter what the law says, by the millions. Our response now is of great import. It will define the scope of executive and congressional powers for years to come."
