There are too many on FR willing to believe Putin. Those of us who have seen this movie before know full well how the Soviets and now the Russians operate. They lie and plant disinformation.
Our CIA is confused, no doubt...but Putin is manuevering to flip Germany out of NATO by provoking 0bama into making strategic mistakes.
Bugging Merkel’s cell phone comes to mind. Getting a CIA spy cell caught in Germany, as another.
...and this coming Winter, Putin will shut off the natural gas as soon as the weather brings the first freeze.
Germany may have to pick sides: warm...or...spied on.
