The United States' Ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro, has emphatically rejected the authenticity of an audio tape released Tuesday night, said to be a leaked recording of a conversation between Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Barack Obama, in which the US President reportedly sought to aggressively push an unfavorable ceasefire on Israel.
"Have seen reports of an alleged Obama-Netanyahu transcript; neither reports nor alleged transcript bear any resemblance to reality," Ambassador Shapiro posted on his official Twitter account.
"Shocking and disappointing someone would sink to misrepresenting a private convo between POTUS and PM in fabrications to Israeli press," he added in another.

Okay, I’ll admit it. I was suckered. Only because it seemed quite believable. I did wonder though, why such a conversation could be ‘leaked’ to the press so very easily, unless both men were deliberately playing a part for effect.
In reality, what probably happens is when Obama gets in a tight moment, he suddenly ‘recieves a very important phone call from another world leader, and is forced to take that call now, so very sorry!” At that point, guess who finishes the debate with Bibi? None other that Valary Garrett, who is ‘responding to the orders of the president’ to give her two cents in opinions.

It was a true transcript leak, probably by Israel.
The diplomatic requirements are such that it must be denied as fake, though.
Don’t be so fast to believe the denial.
Letting this go would be a major diplomatic rift that neither side wants right now. But, I do believe that Israel released it, on purpose, with Net’s approval, to show what they’re dealing with in Obama.
Play the tape and let us judge for ourselves. I believe it. Sounds like exactly what Obama would say.

Susan Rice is going to be sad she missed this moment. The denial from the WH and Israeli govt’s was waaaaaay too swift for me to think it’s all a fake.
