I've heard Kyle tell this story. It sounded like it was in a crowded bar with a whole bunch of other SEALs. Were there no witnesses to corroborate either version of events?
according to the news, witnesses did testify but all had different versions including locations and what was said or not said.
There were a lot of eyewitnesses, all of them were drunk, no two of them told the same story.
I kinda wondered the same thing. They certainly didn’t corroborate his or he would have won the suit. Would have been interested in sitting in on this one.
“Were there no witnesses to corroborate either version of events? “
There were, but a lot of conflicting testimony.
Jesse is sure a fur ball! He used to come on the Mike Trivisanno Show on WTAM here in Cleveland. He called himself “Mr. Blue.” The disguised his voice electronically, but,,,, he has such distinctive mannerisms, etc., that it was easy to tell just who Mr. Blue was! I’ve spent lots of time in recording studios, and I knew it was him after hearing one sentence. I emailed Mike and asked him when he was going to have Jesse “Blue” on again. No answer, but the next time he was on, they altered his voice even more!
If he comes on again, I’m going to call in and call him Jesse. But they’ll just bleep it out!
Yes. A number of witnesses testified that it did happen.
A bunch of witnesses said Ventura was there being obnoxious and running his mouth about anti govt stuff. One guy said he heard the whole thing and Jesse did say the SEAL’s needed to lose a few. Its a miracle he only got punched once instead of a SEAL beatdown.
Long story short it was a SEAL bar in Coranado, CA and everybody was drinking heavily. From the testimony I read online I don’t see $1.8 million coming Jesse’s way. He got lucky at the expense of a widow and her children. What a guy!
From the article, Kyle’s legal team had 11 witnesses but they were drunk at the time and there were discrepancies in their stories. The article didn’t mention any witnesses on behalf of Ventura.
