...Candy Crowley – chose to throw to break rather than to dig too deeply into Pelosi’s flawed thinking.

Candy Crowley has to protect her heavy investment in Democrats. I will not be surprised to see the GOP-e agree to allow Crowley to be a presidential debate moderator again in 2016. I also would not be surprised if GOP-e Senators, such as Alan Simpson, then publicly praise what a wonderful, and tough, job Crowley did in the 2012 debate. Watch for it.

I’ve heard rumblings of impeachment talk. But it mostly seems to be coming from Democrats, who are saying that Republicans want to impeach Obama.

As opposed to Republicans saying they are in favor of impeachment.

If impeachment happens, I would hope they wait until the new Congress takes office.

Remember that if impeachment takes place, there is no way that 2/3 of the Senate will remove Obama from office. So realistically, impeachment would be a listing of the crimes committed, but with no chance of removing him from office.

Clinton served out the last 2 years of his term, after his acquital by the Senate in Feb. 1999, as if the whole thing never happened. The same could happen with Obama.

Just like when the GOPe began distancing themselves from Bush in 2006 when the Dems took control. This is a good sign for conservatives and I hope those running for office take advantage of it.

Impeachment attempts are definitely part of Team Obama's Game Plan. Notice that Democrats are accusing Republicans of seeking impeachment when all but the most bloodthirsty have long given up on the idea (and pretty much everything else).

The President has always played the Victim Card and The Race Card. Impeachment will give him both. Story Line:

I tried to save the country
but those Obstructionist, Racist Republicans
They Hate Me because I am Black
And won't let me do my job of helping you.

Sure they’re desperate. Then he gets to play the “poor victim” card...

It’s an easy distraction from his policy failures and his wrecking of the economy.

Impeachment would be a slap to the face of an arrogant and narcissist president. If he is allowed to remain in power he will exact a veangance that will pale in comparison to what he has done thus far. I am pretty sure he would move to completely dismiss and remove all constitutional protections. If he is impeached he must be removed. No other way. Just my .02

Speaker “Blank Check” Boehner has convinced most voters in the Public and US House of Representatives that NOTHING CAN BE DONE to punish B. Hussein Obama for violating the US Constitution unless he is removed from Office by the US Senate.

IOW, Speaker Boehner, by doing nothing, Boehner violates his unique Constitutional Duty to “Control the Purse” or Impeach Obama, and passes the buck to a Democrat-controlled US Senate that will never Remove Obama from Office.

Obama knows that as long as Boehner stays in as Speaker, then Obama has permission do whatever he wants to do, with no fear of punishment.

Boehner as Speaker is ESSENTIAL to permitting Obama to violate the US Constitution on a near daily basis.

Boehner is “the best Speaker of the House that the Democrat Party has ever had.”

Removal from Office can only come from the US Senate, and ONLY if the US House Impeaches BEFORE the US Senate even considers whether or not to bring an Impeachment to the Floor of the US Senate.

BTW, “stupid” people are those people who are incapable of learning, and Speaker Boehner and all those who refuse to use the Checks and Balances found in the US Constitution are TRULY STUPID, especially the Republican Member supporters of Boehner as Speaker in the US House of Representatives.

Force Boehner to resign as Speaker, and THEN Impeach Obama with New House Speaker Louis Gomert, Jim Jordan or Trey Gowdy.

Do nothing, and US Voters may find no EFFECTIVE reason to vote for a do nothing Republican slate of Candidates in November, 2014.

BTW, BTW, just what is the difference between a do-nothing Republican Politician who always caves-in to his Democrat betters, and an Obama Democrat Politician?

It’s not just a listing of crimes. It goes into the public record as an officiant indictment and it needs to be done. This man has broken many laws and needs to be held to account just like we would be if we were DUI or robbed a bank -

I suspect that if Obemba decides to make all of the illegals legal while Congress is out of session then I do not believe that impeachment will be necessary. I think that that will be the ‘straw-that-broke-the-camel’s-back’.

Obemba would be physically thrown out of the White Hut.

“The White House wants to talk about impeachment and they’re trying to fundraise off that, too,” Scalise replied. “The White House will do anything they can to change the topic away from the president’s failed agenda.”

The Democrats and the Washington elite need a distraction from how bad things are. The Democrats and the MSM are the ones talking about impeachment. Not conservatives. Not Republicans.

Sarah Palin is the only non-Democrat talking about impeachment.

The MSM has been saying Sarah is irrelevant and should be ignored. They ignored her completely except for an occasional remark ridiculing her. Now they are continually quoting her.

They need a distraction.

What IWCAR accomplishes (Impeachment without Conviction and Removal) is paralyze DC - helping avert further moves to the hard left. It puts out into the open opposing forces at the feral level so that the country knows it must coast, like a train on fire, to the next stop in 2016. It also does the right thing to air the grievances against a govt gone wild and sensitizes any more overt moves.

I fear the momentum of the executive without IWCAR would damage much more the fabric of the USA and society as a whole. 0’ and his minions are going for broke, and they need to be slowed down, if not halted/reversed.

As much as the ‘Rats *want* IWCAR for their own political reasons, I want it for concern for the future of the country.

” He cannot bestride the world like the colossus which he was once portrayed.”

The media chose to portray him as something he was not to get him elected. Now that he has been elected to his second term, they’re ready to choose another role for him.

Your comment (and some others) stands in stark contrast to comments I have read from many here at FR.

There have been unbelievably numerous calls here to impeach.

I have always thought it a self-defeating notion.

EXACTLY! This is not the time to push the impeachment issue.
“HOLD YOUR FIRE TIL AFTER NOVEMBER” should be the course we take. Sarah is wrong on her impeachment strategy.

>>>I have always thought it a self-defeating notion.

It is. It's an INSANE idea to impeach before November. Sometimes the right thing is at the wrong time. Those on here who want impeachment now...well...I'm glad they're not in positions to outline strategy. They're like Custer and it would get us all killed.
