It’s funny. I read pieces like this and I have to wonder. How is it that this author doesn’t get it? Liberals don’t care about human nature or innate thinking. They have been raised to believe they know what’s best for everyone and have been empowered by the incremental take over of this nations psyche by people who believe that. The next logical step is for them to band together to exercise that control using any means necessary to implement their beliefs.

I believe Liberals occupy both ends of the economic spectrum. The Rich and the Poor.

The poor are liberals because they receive and like to continue to receive. The rich are liberals because they want to keep the poor happy with OP money from middle class because history has shown when the poor are unhappy, revolutions happen and rich people die.

So the wealthy and upper middle class extort money from the middle and lower middle class to keep the poor happy in their lazy lives.

Of course this is all metaphorical

The biggest fault of the liberals is their failure to realize that the great majority of people in a free country fail due to their own flaws and deficiencies and not some outside force. There will always be a pct. of the population who fail. In fact, many people plunge head first into failure. Liberals can’t wrap their heads around that.

Some 95% of the personal woe endured in this world is self-induced. There are two ways to respond to the effects of this personal woe:

1. examine the effects of the circumstances that led up to the experience, and vow to do differently in the future; or

2. blame somebody else, and repeat the same mistakes over and over.

Some kind of mental disorder has to be involved here somewhere, in making this second choice.

It is not a crime to fail. However, stupidity is the one crime that never goes unpunished in this universe.

“some sort of genetic defect liberals are born with,”

Selective breeding. Thousands of years of dictatorial
tyrannical rule had weeded out most of the rugged individualism
in the world especially Europe. What was left fled to
America where it flourished but then came the Europeans to
tame the wild America and we kicked them out. What was left
was the loyalist who to this day populate the liberal/democrat
party.

It’s the same with the Jews who immigrated to America to
escape persecution. They were still and remained national
socialists. In other words they were escaping persecution
not socialism and began the socialist movement here soon
after.

As for the central American Latinoids, years of propaganda,
ignorance and the refusal to assimilate, makes them prime
targets for the democrats permanent underclass.

4) (...) “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need” may sound nice in theory, but in principle it can never work because of the ugly truth about human nature.

Since principle is pretty much the same as theory, I'm guessing he meant to say "practice." But why does he call the truth about human nature "ugly"? If he's just using a figure of speech, then it's badly misapplied here.

Yep - human nature, like Truth, is anathema to liberals.

You’re right. Robby the Robot was in the film Forbidden Planet.

The robot in Lost In Space was actually Robot B-9, Class M-3 General Utility Non-Theorizing Environmental Control Robot.
But everyone just called him Robot.

The liberal elite are aware of these things. They choose to exploit peoples’ greed in order to eventually appease their own greed. That’s what all dictators do. They convince a majority of the population that up is down and down is up, and that the only way it can be fixed is if you elect them. Eventually they end up dining on Kobe beef and golfing while you are forced to work to the bone and eat peas and arugula. Then they blame everyone and everyone but themselves in order to continue living off the people.

So far no one has this right, esp the author, although you are closest.

Liberalism exists because of evil. The power hungry team with the ultrarich to create a society where the laws are created to benefit the ultrarich. The ultrarich put the power hungry in place to do their bidding. The ultrarich benefit the most, the power hungry are rewarded well enough to be incentivized. The poor are given just enough to be kept docile, and everyone else is exploited.

The concept of altruism does not exist in the power structure of liberalism. It is a fantasy that exists only in the minds of useful idiots.

6) most of us are poor at one time in our life and rather wealthier at another time. For people who work and live in a stable environment, there is no permanent class called the “poor”; such a class had to be created by government.

Good observations. The English language is a treasure when used competently and precisely.

I would replace his “the ugly truth about human nature” with “the current tempered realities of human capacities”. Likely there is a more poetic way of getting the point across.

But his broad outline is good and serves as a template for developing his observational summaries further.

What grates my daily thinking about liberals is their simpleminded notion that they alone see the ideal destination for humankind. For example, they see environmental degradation and in response organize politics to punish the abusers and and push upon all myriad fantasy solutions which sound good but are not tested and not practical. And the part that is so infuriating is felt when there exist true innovators who work to take the painstaking practical steps towards real solutions and this progress is usurped by liberals who claim that such progress would have never existed if it were not for their organizing the politics surrounding it.

In short, liberals see something that is universally wrong and they jump up and down like children pointing to that something which is wrong as if they are the only ones that see it. Then when a more adult group notices that thing which is wrong and takes steps to right that wrong, liberals take credit in saying that without their pointing out the wrong there would never have been a solution. Therefore, it was they that solved the problem.

One of my favorite quotes is from H. Allen Smith back in the 40’s, I think (wish I could find the exact words, but something like):

The main flaw in Communism is that it assumes people are nicer and more generous than they really are.

Found it:

“Personally, I never admired communists because they operate on the theory that human beings are nice people.”

But lest we all forget, Robby did make a guest appearance on Lost in Space season 1, episode 20, "War of the Robots".

Robby vs. Robot

I had a viewmaster disk set of that featured Robbie fighting Robot, in color, no less!

"I believe Liberals occupy both ends of the economic spectrum."

The democratic party is a coalition of Cultural Elitists and Economic Populists while the republican party is a coalition of Economic Elitists and Cultural Populists.

In the 50s/60s the Cultural Elitists took over the dem party and the final battle of that take-over was at the 1968 dem convention in Chicago. In the 70s/80s the republicans brought the cultural populists out of the dem party into the GOP using Nixon's Southern Strategy and this group included Nixon's "Silent Majority" and Reagan's "Moral Majority".

Most of today's intra-party political conflicts are being caused by the breakdown of these two coalitions, especially in the GOP.

In the dem party today, Hillary represents the Cultural Elitists and Elizabeth Warren represents the economic populists. Obama was the consummate democrat because he was both a Cultural Elitist(Harvard educated lawyer) and an Economic Populist(community organizer).

If Sarah Palin(cultural populist) and Elizabeth Warren(economic populist) could somehow join forces on a presidential run for prez in 2016 on a 3rd party, populist platform, they would capture 70% of the popular vote and 95% of the electoral votes.
