After learning that 25% of his troops had already been lost in battle, George Washington decided that a continuation of the Battle of Long island might result in a defeat that would mean the loss of our Revolutionary War.
So General Washington arranged for his out-numbered army to escape from that particular British trap.
As a result, Washington’s army lived to fight and to decisively beat the British army another day.
Sometimes I wonder if our self-appointed armchair generals have learned anything — anything at all — from history.
As Obama’s many recent defeats should make clear, there is a lot more needed to achieve victory than an arrogant attitude and loud “trash-talk”.
Bingo!
Get rid of Hairy Reid first, then the blame for shutting down government would be shifted to Owebama if it happened.
At that point he would be vetoing the budget passed by the house and senate. The MSM couldn’t spin that one away!
