Oh no, Puppage says he was killed because he didn’t cooperate when the police tried to cuff him. We all know that is a capital offense.
Straw man argument. SUBMIT OR MURDER. So if you don’t do exactly what the police demand, no matter what it is....they can kill you. I say NO.
John is systems and and programming, I’m management, Amy and Chis are admin.
” No, I am saying a person who doesnt
comply with a police officers directive,
plays a part in whatever injury occurs
after the fact. Thats what COURT is for.
How were the cops supposed to know if
he didnt have a weapon? Take his word
for it, hmm?”
Yes, because courts and government have been so good at controlling out of control cops. Look at the long sentences for the cops in the Dorner hunt, or the cop who killed a kid for holding a wii controller.
Oh, wait. Nothing happened to them. Well, we are noticing that, and so are cops. Cops are smiling at all they can get away with. And those they serve are getting angrier. It is no accident people put up a memorial to a cop killer in NJ.
Members of the New York City Police Department will not use choke holds. A choke hold shall include, but is not limited to, any pressure to the throat or windpipe, which may prevent or hinder breathing or reduce intake of air.

No, it’s not ignore what the police say. Nobody has said that except you as a straw man to put a choke hold on and knock down.
Just the fact that the cop put an unsanctioned (to be kind) choke hold on him tells me all I need to know. There are many ways for the cops to be passively aggressive and control the situation but in most cases, big city cops go straight for the violence. They just can’t stand somebody not obeying their every word.
Look at the video and pictures. The man was passively resisting, there was no reason to take him down with a choke hold.
And post #10 is full of it. Whoever they are they’re still living in the 70’s. Cigarettes are not 45 cents a pack in North Carolina.
“I felt threatened” would have covered that, too.
Indian reservation cigarettes are $3.95 per pack.
That’s less than half of what New York City taxes on cigarettes are; $4.35
No wonder there’s a black market.

Excellent, and thank you! This applies to this case.
You’re obviously incapable of grasping my point. Why not throw in some words that I never said . Ok, you’re right everyone is wrong and when the police tell you to do something.....do whatever you want.
Oh of course I’m incapable of grasping your point. It can’t be that your point just doesn’t make good sense. Oh no. Always someone else’s fault.
The guy refused commands from the police. Had he done so, there would never have been the illegal choke hold . Period. That’s the ONLY point I was making. Nothing more. YOU added all the rest by adding your feeeeeeeeeeeeelings.
Welcome. Pass it along, thanks!
Mostly folks who don't hate men, use proper capitalization and punctuation and manage things.
I know, you never met any.
Put any men in jail lately?
Great Scott, openness and accountability here, elsewhere sadly lacking! One more question—what does it cost to have an individual post daily for a month?
What part of “there should never have been a chokehold, especially one like that, in any case” do you not understand??
