Yeah that letter is little more than window dressing, but according to a GOP county chair I talked to about it, a lifelong friend, Haslam truly didn’t know ahead of time. That was the point of my post. Haslam needs to do much more than write a letter. He’s an establishment stooge, just as I suspected he would be.
By the way, I don’t discount the possibility Haslam is lying to cover his tail.

Republican Govs don’t appear to have the ability to stop 0 from sending these illegals to their states. Many Govs aren’t even aware the illegals are being sent to their states...and, once there, they’re not being told their locations. So much for “authority”.
If our (federal) elected officials would join our state officials, on the border, arm in arm, it would be hard for 0’s media to ignore.
That’s what I read too.. state’s governors specifically told HHS to give them advance notice if their states were to receive these “children” and governors were not notified (surprise).
Considering our county schools are already bursting at the seams with kids this oughta go well.. /s

Where did you learn that Tennessee HHS idiots knew about the importation of illegals? My understanding was they didn’t know until about them until last week and that they are having trouble finding out where all of the illegals are being kept. I could well be wrong.
By the way, I’m as upset as you are about this. Memphis already has a broke government ineptly dealing with poverty, violence, and all the other social ills that come from socialist governance, so it cannot withstand a new flood of illegals.

It’s taken a year for hubby to get a Military disability appointment. Flight deck hearing loss, retinitis from cleaning chems. Ortho issues, all service related. 20 yrs and lamar wants to limit his pension COLA to 1%, and DOD MANDATE us WHERE we can get our daily medications! That is not Freedom. That is communism. We are Medicare/Tricare Life, retired Military over 65.
