COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - New federal data show at least 350 children caught at the U.S. border this year have been sent to stay with relatives or other sponsors in South Carolina.
They are among more than 30,000 children who have been released to sponsors nationwide from Jan. 1 through July 7. That's according to data published Thursday by the Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families.
Gov. Nikki Haley's office says federal officials will not provide governors any additional information. That includes details on the children's ages, where they're sent in South Carolina or how they arrived.
The U.S. is grappling with a surge in unaccompanied children who have been fleeing violence in Central America and crossing into the U.S. because they believe they will be allowed to stay.

For accomodating Pied Piper Obama and his entourage of alien children, the shelter I just referred to above has just received approx a million dollar$ covering April through September, 2014..... plus it'll get another $1.8 million which will be forthcoming to cover the shelter's cost for its handful of alien residents in fiscal 2015.
Multiply what this one shelter in my area is receiving in taxpayer largesse by the thousands of organizations across the fruited plain delightfully and avidly receiving millions from Obama's treasure trove.
He's buying future DemoRat voters with our shrinking dollars, pure and simple....and the do-good organizations going along with his thievery are loving every minute of it. With the million$ flowing to them, they can afford to buy Sleep Number beds and silken sheets for all the illegal hordes living in their quarters.

In a sane world that statement would be evidence that you should be committed to an insane asylum for your own protection. In the current downside up, bass ackwards world it actually seems to make sense.

There's only two things that would compel them to leave - a) the welfare carrot is retracted; and b) official policy is changed back to vigorous enforcement.

I think you’re on target. The blacks in the high schools will welcome the illegal flea-carriers with fists. A good number of responsible blacks I know here are furious at President Buckwheat.
I understood that S.C. Governor Haley had received recently IN WRITING from the Administration, a negative answer to her question if there were plans to place any illegal immigrants in South Carolina. The Administration apparently has lied to our governor in writing.

The illegal alien "children" should be quickly deported for humanitarian reasons. We must never support human traffickers. And it their parents set foot in this country, they should be charged with child abuse.

The power of the purse can be used by the House of Representatives. The House should be defunding programs, agencies, and the President’s discretionary spending ability. Boehner and the Republicans in the House choose not to use the spending power to our peril.
They’re picking and choosing states that need “infestation”.
And accordingly, they are dropping off these ‘ants, spiders, etc..’ to run loose and multiply and CHANGE the voting bloc in said States.
