Arseniy Yatseniuk, Ukraine’s prime minister, resigned on Thursday after two parties quit the ruling coalition government in a move designed to trigger early elections.

"Our man Yats" jumped the sinking ship. Being PM of a government responsible for the mass murder of their own citizens, illegal conscription, wanton destruction against the own population is serious business.

Looking into the empty Government coffers ($20M today) does not make it any more pleasant.

And having the facts coming out about the Malaysian airliner makes it urgent.

But it is too late nevertheless.

The new acting PM is someone named Volodymyr Groysman. Not much out there about him, but his listed Party on Wiki is “Unaffiliated”.

“Whoops there goes the IMF money”

And it is going to get really cold, soon. Ukraine has to end this before the winter, or whatever new government they get is likely going to toast.

"Not enough gas in underground storages" means the transit of Russia's gas to EU will be difficult or even impossible.

It is getting interesting.

Is Russia the only place Ukraine can get gas from?
