But he said the inspector general's office advised him the investigators are reviewing tapes to see if they contain any "recoverable" material.

Either they have backups or they do not. Probably they are screening the tapes to see if they are incriminating.....

"Backup tapes," by definition, contain recoverable material. Otherwise the tapes aren't really "backup."

Go ahead and call me a conspiracy theorist but I won’t be surprised if they find thousands of Lerner emails saying “DO NOT TARGET TEA PARTY CONSERVATIVE GROUPS!!!
