SARAH PALIN DRIVES STAKE THROUGH HEART OF 'TRUE BLOOD' PRODUCERS
Breitbart - Big Hollywood ^ | 22 Jul 2014, 4:31 AM PDT | by TONY LEE

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin rejected overtures from True Blood's producers for a cameo role on the conservative-bashing vampire show. Her instincts proved to be correct after Sunday's HBO episode in which Republican women were once again demeaned when one of the lead characters said in horror, "Oh my God, I'm a Republi-c*nt."

Palin told Breitbart News after she heard about the misogynistic episode that she simply wondered, "'True Blood' or true gall?"

"The brilliant minds of 'True Blood' were brazen enough to ask me to do a cameo on their show, apparently so they could insult a conservative woman in person instead of just all conservative women in general," Palin told Breitbart News. "Their offer wasn’t presented in any negative way, perhaps to benefit from a surprise factor after the guest appearance. I turned them down anyway." Palin also had some choice words for hypocritical Hollywood liberals who often gin up the phony "war on women" rhetoric.

"To producers who throw these deceitfully 'flattering' bones that sound fun on the surface, is it really any wonder I don't accept your offers to participate in your shows?" she said. "Nice try HBO. I’d put any mama grizzly in America against a vampire any day; for only one of them actually exists. The left wants to talk about a 'war on women'? Keep engaging in your misogynist attacks on women you disagree with and we’ll see who wins your self-inflicted war in the court of decent public opinion."

Behold, the darkness covers the earth, and GROSS darkness the people (Isaiah 60:2).

The world is reeling toward the end quickly (I personally think Jesus return is a few decades away, but it could be anytime). BUT, the rest of the verse above says,

but the Lord rises upon you and his glory is seen upon you (id.)

So as the world gets darker, our lights shine brighter. So the Lord wants His people to know Him more intimately and also to know what's going on around them.

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober (1 Thess 5:4-6).

The Lord wants us to know the truth about what's coming so that His children will be comforted and not afraid of the wrath to come.

For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also you do (1 Thess 5:9-11).

Ive never even heard of this show, perhaps because I don’t have HBO and I never will because its the same network that has Bill Maher’s idiotic program on it

Those are good reasons; I don't have cable/satellite and am very pleased to brag about it, having been a TV captive in times past.

Also, no longer am I subject to daily peer pressure, since I've outlived the Joneses I so mightly tried to keep up with.

"Why are so many people obsessed with vampires and the occult? It is either watch those or more reality TV shows."

I am watching more and more cartoons. Kung Fu Panda is usually fun, Phineas and Ferb, ALWAYS, Avatar & Korra, (disregard "religious" aspect), and some other stuff. Baseball is good in the summer, football in the winter. Weather and Science (with the sound OFF so you don't need to listen to the preaching but can enjoy the images). Occasionally there's a good movie on. Hellboy, I Robot, RED, John Carter, etc. always entertaining.

I watched 20 minutes of it and I really couldn’t tell you what it’s about.

I'll save you from wasting even more precious time:

It's about Sex, sex and even more sex.

Then, in between the sex scenes, there's graphic violence...

Oh and I forgot about the "Gay Rights" subplot(i.e. Vampire Rights")

If you have an "undead" jones, try "The Walking Dead" No vampires but zombies with a good plot, interesting characters and aside from the gory violence, is more family friendly...well compared to TB, anyway....

I loved this show when it first came out, the first 2 seasons. Then it devolved into debauchery and hedonism. Some of the scenes would make an adult film star blush.
