I hooked a sting ray at Santa Rosa Island in a 1964 Trojan 24ft wood boat...she was powered by a 305 v8 chevy motor

and was sittin on the anchor when the boat up and slowly headed out away from the island headed to open sea

got a glimpse when the ray surfaced, hugh, cut the line on the spot
