question...got an older lapper for the grandson...uses Windows Vista Home Premium

processer is intel...T2080 @ 1.73 ghz
memory ( ram ) 1014 mb.
system...32 bit

Q1...how do I defrag
Q2...how do I delete history / cookies
Q3...how do I add memory etc or is it worth it ?

My Computer >Drive C: (usually) right click->Properties >Tools >Defrag

Internet Explorer >Tools >Internet Options >General >Browsing History Delete

More memory will definitely help. Just don’t spend too much for it. And make sure you get the right kind.
