Umm you got to realize what you’re saying... that if you go and vote solid Dem it will be no worse.
That is where I cannot agree with you.
Also there can no more be a secular evangelist than there can be a dry ocean. I’m stepping completely out of trust in politics here. Being radical requires that.
I don’t do that or advocate for it, but look at the lengths the GOPe goes to to defeat our voice. Look at Mississippi.
Look at Boehner, a man that could defund any Obama project he wants to, and doesn’t.
Look at the GOPe that continually trash talks the Tea Party.
Even when we have the majority, our voice is silent in the halls of government.
At the state level not so much, but look at what the GOPe engaged in at the gubernatorial level recently too. They were willing to oust the rebublucan in favor of a Democrat.
I believe there are decent people who are not devout Christians. They have fallen out at some point, but still know there is a right and wrong. When they push for right, they are evangelizing to an extent. And they are advocating for God’s will to be done, even if not from within the religious framework. I believe a God still works through some of these people.
