That's funny - atheism as a "religion." Some kind of scientific study came out recently that said there was technically no such thing as an atheist becasue we're born hard-wired to believe in God.
Maybe atheists believe in some kind of God but not the redeeming, caring, personal God of the Bible.

Curious how White Evangelicals rate Jews highly (69) but those warm feelings are not reciprocated (34).

About the only redeeming thing I can say about Muslims is that they were born “Homo Sapiens” ... :-) ...
There’s not much beyond that to admire!

Atheists know more about person’s natural judgment than the person himself — an arrogance not evangelized by the agnostic.

Theism is the belief that at least one Deity exists. “A-theism” (e.g. apathetic, amoral, apolitical) means the complete absence of theism, or religion.
Without using tautology, how do you figure atheism is a “religion”?
Using the argument I expect you’ll use—someone who believes something to be true or false has made that topic a religion?
So that, say, the theory of ‘natural selection’ is an article of faith rather than a theory compared to the concept of parthenogenesis or religious doctrine of transubstantiation which many accept without a shred of evidence as facts?

White evangelicals view Jews warmly with a rating of 69; Jews, meanwhile, give evangelicals a rating of
34, which is a point lower than their rating of Muslims. And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved. (2 Corinthians 12:15)

Harry Reid does not improve the image of Mormons. Maybe he’s been excommunicated. Maybe that’s way he always appears to have a mouthful of lemon rinds.

with Americas large evangelical population strongly pro-Jewish because of their solidarity with Israel and veneration of Biblical teachings about the chosen people. Chosen people doesn't need quotation marks, the Jews are indeed God's chosen people.

Could be that evangelicals, when asked about Jews, instinctively think of Israel and foreign policy whereas Jews, most of whom lean Democratic, think mainly of domestic policy when asked about evangelical Christians. The gospel is the issue. "What do you cockamamie fundies mean, Jesus is the way, the truth, the life?" Whereas most fundies will see Jews as part of God's procession towards gospel revelation.

So, on the hate index, “atheists” most hate white evangelical protestants,
showing that atheism isn’t really a worldview as much as it is an ANTI-worldview.
Just like “urban culture” is not a culture, it’s an ANTI-culture.
