Oh please, inner-city types have been referring to Police as “Pigs” since the 1960s.
Cops have always been “brutal”. The difference is that now more people are questioning them. Back in the day, in my small town, you mouthed off to the cops, you got your head busted. Had a lot less problems....
Cops here used to be very low paid. Minimum wage and all they could steal. As a respected local businessman and friend of the family(now deceased) said to me, “cops are garbage men who were under qualified.”
No knock raids and the militarization of the Police are the cause of much of the recent unpleasantness.
Unbelievable then, totally believable today..............

What really gets me is how some cops are not gun people at all.
As in, literally know nothing about firearms other than what they learned in class.
I just don’t get that.
On my job I know everything I can about the tools I use.
How do you have a gun as part of your job and it’s the only gun you have ever fired? And that’s only once a year to qualify with low recoil ammo. You have have been given authority by the state to walk around with a loaded weapon in public and you barely even know how to disassemble it for cleaning?
Boggles my mind.

Only a few days ago, Eric Holder said that we need to have more open conversations about race. I guess those open conversations mean your opinions have to be PC and/or devoid of truth.
I can’t remember the last time I watched local news - pure trash.
The correct answer is always, “stricter gun laws”. (Talking about that 70% illegitimacy rate in the Black community being an issue might cause the prols to start thinking about the War on Poverty being a failure; and we can’t have that. A whole government bureaucracy is built around the permanently poor.)
It used to be “the truth will set you free”. Now it’s “the truth will get you canned”!

The problem is not that the thug fathers didn't stick around.
The problem is that the slut women sleep with "exciting" thugs instead of "boring" responsible men. If the women suddenly decided to only date men who had a decent job and were responsible and stable, the situation would be reversed really quickly. Thugs, faced with a future of involuntary celibacy, would start looking for jobs. Younger thugs might even decide to try to learn something in school, so they would qualify for a job.
How to accomplish this reversal? Abolish welfare and affirmative action for women. If women faced starvation for making bad choices, they might start making good choices.
I quite agree, and if I’m not being hammered from both right and left I figure I’m doing something wrong.
