HARLINGEN A Brownsville-based organization that shelters undocumented immigrant children will open a processing center in Harlingen amid a surge of Central American immigrants that has filled immigrant shelters in the Rio GrandeValley, reports Friday said.
Ruben Gallegos, an official with International Educational Services, or IES, purchased the property at 2032 N. 77 Sunshine Strip from Tell My People Inc., a church, according to the Cameron Appraisal District.
