What craziness was going on that this man killed his own (possibly) child(ren) and his own nieces and/or nephews?

RIP for the children and for the two caregivers. The 15 year old daughter called 911. My GOD give her strength in this time of tragedy.
Last week the story went around: “Keep your eye on Houston. FedGov hiring Crisis Actors on Craigslist for $200/day.”
Right on cue, another ‘shooting’ happens.
Although it was 48hrs late.
The advert said casting.... for job July 4-6 in Houston.
So they needed another 2 days to narrow the main characters and memorize the Crisis Script.
