Even Mississippi? Really with the Cochran shenanigans?

Herd a REALLY interesting take on the MS shenanigans today from a young, educated, responsible man, born, bred and educated in MS.

I was saying Thad C was gettiing too old, had served too long and needed to give it up to younger man.

The response was--Thad is going to serve not more than 2 years, then resign. Haley Barbour gets appointed senator without having to run and has 4 years as incumbent before the next election.

Makes a lot of sense.

Also--most probably knoiwre he finished up as gov., and Barbour's PAC is big time supporting Cochran

It was after my house burned down that I was offered a stay in some city (Memphis) friends country home that was only a mile south of the boarder.
